An all round top vintage for both reds and whites. A more powerful vintage than the variable 2015 vintage.
Aged in 100% French Oak my usual blend of new and older with a mixture of Tronçais and mixed forests.
Colour – Deep red purple.
Aroma – A spicy nose of black and white pepper with some sweeter berry notes.
Palate – Full of rich blackberry and plum flavours combined with spicy black pepper.
The oak selection brings this wine altogether into a fine drink.
The power and sweet fruits call out for a rich or meaty meal.
Alc/Vol 14.4%
TA 6.55
pH 3.63
Aging Potential 10-15 years
