A solid vintage for Clare Shiraz with great colour and subtly intense flavours. Aged in new and used French and American Oak for 18-20 months before final blending.
Colour – Deep and vibrant red.
Aroma – A spicy nose of cinnamon and white pepper and some subtle herbs and lavender.
Palate – A mixture of cloves, black cherry, plum and hint of licorice on the palate. All combines with the herbal French Oak to deliver subtly intense sweet/spicy wine with firm tannin structure.
