2013 was a great but small vintage for Cabernet Sauvignon.
Intense fruit aged for 21 Months in 100% French Oak.
Colour – Blackish deep purple.
Aroma – Rich and intense blackberry, blackcurrent and cedar nose.
Palate – A very powerful Cabernet full of cassis, blackberry and black olive flavours. The fine French Oak tannins combines with the fruit tannins to give a well constructed wine of generous elegance.
Drink with fatty chops from the BBQ to rich casseroles of lamb shanks and Osso Bucco. Irish stew a beauty to have it with.
