A few warm spells ripened the Merlot to 14.5 baume this vintage. The added baume has made a fuller bodied wine this year. Aged in new and used French Oak for 21 months.
Colour – Vibrant deep red and purple.
Aroma – This vintage is full of lifted ripe berries and cinnamon.
Palate – A wine chock full of beetroot and fruit cake flavours. The oak gives a nice cashew influence. This Merlot will age longer than previous vintages.
Drink now with Meditarranian foods and as it ages will go beautifully with cheeses.
